ABOUT THE AWARDS
The Break the ceiling touch the sky® 2020 Leonie Awards (The global gender diversity and leadership excellence awards) are the third annual edition of the awards which were established in 2018 to recognize global diversity & inclusion and leadership excellence. The awards provide inspiration to the world to unleash the full potential of D&I on their businesses. The awards were founded by Anthony. A. Rose, best-selling author and Founder of Break the ceiling touch the sky® – the success and leadership summit for women® to honor his late mother Leonie. This awards program is International, with entries accepted from around the world.
ABOUT THE AWARDS JURY
The awards jury comprises 30 of the worlds most respected leaders in business drawn from multiple locations around the world from the worlds most successful Companies. Each C-Suite jury member must compulsorily have at least 20 years of business experience leading a business or large organization. Jury members have been carefully hand picked for their global leadership experience, deep experience with diversity and its evolution and their own commitment and passion to the progress of women to the highest levels of leadership. The jury of the Break the ceiling touch the sky® 2020 Leonie Awards is a “by invitation only” group.
ABOUT THE AWARDS PROCESS
Companies from around the world with more than 1000 employees globally encouraged to compete for Top Honours at the 2020 Leonie Awards. Companies can participate in multiple categories with a max of 1 entry from their company in each category. Each finalist company is expected to have participation at the 2020 World edition of the summit of at least five delegates. Winners will be widely publicised via HORP’s International network of partners including news media, associations and chambers of commerce.

The most inspirational overall Diversity & Inclusion strategy/ program highlights business impact of D&I- gender, nationality, race, disability, style, etc. Could be national/regional/ global.
The top CEOs/Presidents who have led and best integrated diversity & inclusion as a competitive advantage for their organization and industry, demonstrating clear business and organizational results.
The top HR leaders for outstanding achievements and who consistently have demonstrated outstanding leadership in leading and supporting the diversity & diversity agenda and its active acceleration in their organizations.
Recognizes the contributions and leadership of the world’s best leaders on Diversity & Inclusion. Who have built strategic programs that are delivering business impact via D&I. Recognised as leaders of repute in their companies and industries.
Celebrates the top D & I Marketing/ Activation Campaigns/ leaders/teams. This award recognizes a marketing effort and leader/team that has played a major role in supporting diversity or the advancement of women in the workplace both in talk and in “walk”.
Celebrates the most inspirational women leaders from around the world for significant contributions a female leader has made not just to her business, but also as an inspirational role model for other professional women to grow and her impact in the community.
Recognizes the key male champions for diversity & inclusion across the world who work tirelessly for the advancement of women and other male champions for diversity and who tirelessly and creatively serve as advocates and good role models for D&I.
Recognises the entire D&I team of a Company versus an individual for inspirational D&I leadership within their own Company and also within the broader industry. Recognizes the teams contribution to collaborating for greater impact with multiple companies.

All delegates at the day summit (0830 to 1715) receive free access to the evening awards session (1715 to 1800).
