ABOUT THE AWARDS

The Break the ceiling touch the sky® 2020 Leonie Awards (The global gender diversity and leadership excellence awards) are the third annual edition of the awards which were established in 2018 to recognize global diversity & inclusion and leadership excellence. The awards provide inspiration to the world to unleash the full potential of D&I on their businesses. The awards were founded by Anthony. A. Rose, best-selling author and Founder of Break the ceiling touch the sky® – the success and leadership summit for women® to honor his late mother Leonie. This awards program is International, with entries accepted from around the world.

ABOUT THE AWARDS JURY

The awards jury comprises 30 of the worlds most respected leaders in business drawn from multiple locations around the world from the worlds most successful Companies. Each C-Suite jury member must compulsorily have at least 20 years of business experience leading a business or large organization. Jury members have been carefully hand picked for their global leadership experience, deep experience with diversity and its evolution and their own commitment and passion to the progress of women to the highest levels of leadership. The jury of the Break the ceiling touch the sky® 2020 Leonie Awards is a “by invitation only” group.

ABOUT THE AWARDS PROCESS

The House of Rose Professional international research team identifies the worlds best. Nominations for the 2020 BTC Leonie Awards are accepted within the timeline below. Entries are accepted on the basis of work from April 1, 2019 to March 31, 2020 and must be made via choosing the specific categories on this page, then a nominal entry fee paid, and entry form filled in and sent to us. Companies and Individuals will be updated if they are on the finalist list, and invited to secure participation at the 2019 World Edition of Break the ceiling touch the sky® summit and Leonie   Awards on Nov 3, 2020.

Recognizes the key male champions for diversity & inclusion across the world  who work tirelessly for the advancement of women and other male champions for diversity and who tirelessly and creatively serve as advocates and good role models for D&I.

Best HR/D&I Teams for overall impact in industry

Recognises the entire D&I team of a Company versus an individual for inspirational D&I leadership within  their own Company  and also within the broader industry. Recognizes the teams contribution to collaborating for greater impact with multiple companies.

How to enter Break the ceiling touch the sky ® 2020 – the Leonie Awards, Nov 3, 2020 alongside 2020 world edition of break the ceiling touch the sky.

 

1. Download the entry form and choose the category you wish to enter.

2. Make entry payment of 150 USD per entry via the button here. At least 50% of the nomination entry fee will be donated to charity on the day of the awards. The Awards Program is NOT FOR PROFIT with some part of nomination fees going towards the successful execution of the awards process.

3. In the entry form write up your entry in under 1000 words based on the criteria mentioned under each award (focus on the 5 criteria in each award category and results linked to EACH of those criteria as they will independently carry equal 20% weightage for max of 100% in scoring), send in to us  by June 30, 2020. Please quote your receipt number from the payment made. HORP reserves the right to follow up with additional questions regarding your award entries.

4. The awards jury will inform Top 20 Finalists in each category. Finalist companies and candidates will be notified by Aug 15, 2020. All shortlisted Companies and Teams will be expected to have a minimum FIVE delegates signed up as delegates for the 2020 World Edition of Break the ceiling touch the sky . Top 3 Winners will be announced on the evening of the summit at the Awards program Nov 3, 2020. Should the Covid-19 disrupt the possibility of a live event the awards will be announced virtually.

5. Note that access to the actual 2020 Leonie awards presentation on Nov 3, 2020 is reserved for paid delegates of the 2020 World Edition of Break the ceiling touch the sky® – the success and leadership summit for women and special invitees of House of Rose Professional. All delegates at the day summit (0830 to 1715) receive free access to the evening awards session (1715 to 1800). To attend the awards evening please sign up for the summit.

Access to the actual 2020 Leonie Awards evening on Nov 3, 2020 is reserved for paid delegates of the 2020 World Edition of Break the ceiling touch the sky® – the success and leadership summit for women on Nov 3, 2020. All delegates at the day summit (0830 to 1715) receive free access to the evening awards session (1715 to 1800).
