Madhulika Mathur


Motivated by the agonizing experience of planning her own wedding, Madhulika made it her mission to deliver a fresh new voice for couples planning their weddings. In 2000, Madhulika co-founded, which has since transformed the wedding business in India as the leading bridal media company and the most-trafficked online wedding destination in India.

She has provided execution and thought leadership to some of India’s best-known companies on the use of digital media and WeddingSutra to connect with their customers in innovative ways to build market share and relationships. She guides the development of strategies and execution of marketing programmes for WeddingSutra’s advertisers.

Prior to that Madhulika worked in retail consulting for UK consulting firm, Hillier Parker leading consulting projects in planning of multiplexes in India. She has also worked in Corporate Finance for Glaxo Smithkline.

Madhulika loves obsessing over where the tech industry is heading. She has been writing about the Internet, social media, digital marketing and new technologies, platforms, and apps in various tech publications.
