Vice President, Global Information Officer at Stryker, a leading Medical Technologies company, Stefan is responsible for aligning and supporting
Business Strategies with Information Technology across all divisions and functions worldwide, based in Allendale New Jersey.

In prior years, Stefan gained broad experience in many leadership positions in the biotech and pharmaceutical industry, working for 17 years at Merck.

His career comprises stations in Germany, South Korea, Switzerland, Belgium and South Africa as IT Project Manager, IS Business Partner, Head of Government Affairs, Chief of Staff for the Group CEO and General Manager.

Managing Director for Sub Sahara Africa. Stefan started his career in Paris, France and Frankfurt, Germany working with Arthur Andersen as a business consultant for the financial industry.

Stefan holds a master’s degree in engineering from Technical University Berlin, Germany and an MBA from Toulouse Business School, France.

In his spare time, he enjoys long-distance running, sailing and reading.
