Eva Mattheeussen

Eva holds a Master’s degree from Antwerp University and has over 15 years of experience across various continents (Europe, Asia, Africa, Middle East) in various different domains of the Human Resources function. Eva She started her career with DHL in 2005, covering several roles over the years from Recruitment, HR business partnering until her most recent appointment four years ago as Head of HR and member of the MEA Senior Management team.

Currently heading Human Resources for DHL Global Forwarding Middle East & Africa (MEA) and looking after 24 countries with a highly engaged HR team, Eva’s main focus has been to develop the HR function and focus to deliver the HR service and contributing to develop a strong motivated team. Eva’s main passion lies with Talent Management. She is heading the Diversity & Inclusion at DHL Global Forwarding with the focus on Women@DHL.

Her main responsibility is to drive the HR strategy for MEA and to contribute to the business performance. Translating the strategy into programs and initiatives for management to easily implement. Enjoying to coach employees towards solutions.
