Michelle Ho
President, UPS Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa (AMEA) Region
As the president of UPS’s Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa (AMEA) region, Michelle leads close to 16,000 employees and oversees UPS’s small package business and operations in over 110 countries and territories. Michelle’s vision for the region is to continue building the innovative digital experience powered by a global smart logistics network to support UPS customers’ cross-border connectivity needs.
As the first female president for UPS’s AMEA region and a growth-oriented leader, Michelle has nearly 30 years of UPS experience under her belt. Since joining the company in 1993 as a finance and accounting collection supervisor in Singapore, Michelle has served in multiple leadership roles in Asia. In her previous appointment as president of UPS China, she led the implementation of strategic service and network enhancements across cities large and small. She also drove digital transformation efforts that enabled Chinese businesses to adjust to new demands, help optimize their supply chains, and accelerate global growth – even in the face of a pandemic. Michelle also served as president, South Asia District, of UPS Asia Pacific where she was focused on driving strategic growth for UPS’s express operations across a diverse range of 28 emerging and mature markets across Southeast Asia and the Pacific Islands.
Michelle is an exemplar for women in leadership – a trailblazer who inspires, she was one of UPS’s first senior female leaders as vice president of finance in Asia Pacific in 2010. A strong believer in diversity and inclusion and empowering women in business, Michelle actively participates in public platforms to speak about the crucial role that women play in today’s economy.
She is a Chartered accountant of Singapore and holds a Master Degree in Applied Finance from Macquarie University, Australia. She is also an alumna of the National University of Singapore where she graduated with an accounting degree.
