Sean Poppitt was appointed to the position of Director of Communications – GM Africa and Middle East in January 2021, joining the GM AMEO Leadership Team.
In addition, Sean also sits on the GM International Communications Leadership Team.
Prior to joining GM Africa and Middle East, Sean held the position of Director of Marketing, Communications and Customer Experience for GM Southeast Asia, and before this held various senior communications positions at GM Holden in Australia.
Preceding joining GM, Sean held senior communications positions at Audi Australia, following several years in journalism across print, broadcast, and online media.
Sean holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Australian Institute of Business.
Sean has relocated to Dubai with his wife and two young children.
