Claudia Navarro Velasquez
Claudia Navarro Velasquez is a marketing professional, with over 19 years of Global Marketing Experience. She started her marketing career with Johnson & Johnson in Canada in 2001, managing multiple categories across the J&J portfolio, before joining The Coca-Cola Company in 2006. After leading the Coca-Cola Trademark team in Canada, Claudia moved to the Global Sports & Entertainment team to lead the broadest Global marketing platforms: the FIFA World Cup and the Olympic Games. The London 2012 Olympic Games marketing plan included the development of an original TV series broadcast across more than 30 countries; as well as digital and mobile platform that earned Coke the first Cannes Lion for a Mobile activation. Next, Claudia led the Marketing Communications team for Central & Eastern Europe – a region of 23 countries – delivering integrated marketing platforms across 15 brands in the portfolio. From 2015-2019 Claudia has been at the helm of the Marketing organizations in Thailand and Laos, responsible for the portfolio strategy and growth plans across Sparkling and Stills beverage categories, including Coca-Cola, Fanta, Sprite, Minute Maid, and Namthip among others. Last year she took on the position of Marketing Director for the Middle East and North Africa Business Units, leading the marketing teams across 24 countries, setting the long term marketing strategy, as well as delivering the annual plans for all the portfolio. Claudia currently lives in Dubai with her husband, Rahul, and her children, Diego and Razia.
