Chief Financial Officer, Better Choice Company

Andreas Schulmeyer has a unique perspective on e-commerce based on his 20+ years with a vertically integrated retailer (L Brands), the largest retailer (Walmart), and over 10 years of international assignments in both retail and FMCG (PepsiCo) as well as CFO of Better Choice Company, an innovative pet food company. Andreas came up on the finance track, acting as CFO at Walmart and PepsiCo.

Andreas advises in several areas of expertise based on his experience. He is currently the CFO for Better Choice Company, a holistic pet health business. In prior roles, he led the launch of Victoria’s Secret on T-Mall who were awarded ‘Launch of the Year’ by T-Mall in 2017. At Walmart he led the acquisition of YiHaoDian which provided the Chinese e-Commerce entry for Walmart. Back in the US he led the approvals for Walmart’s online grocery startup and the buildout of the logistics network.

He is a leading expert in the economics of online retail which is structurally different from traditional bricks and mortar retail. In addition, he has led the development of international and cross border e-Commerce with a focus on China. Andreas also advises in core corporate activities such as M&A, market entry, regulatory compliance and organizational design based on his experience in operating in some of the most complex business environments including China, India and Brazil.
