Zoë Cousens

Independent Investment Consultant

Zoë’s career in financial services began in 1986 as one of the first women to work in the London Stock Exchange, since which time she has worked continuously in the financial services industry.The majority of her career was spent in Guernsey, Channel Islands as an Investment Manager for Private Client, Family and Trust portfolios for a subsidiary of a large London investment company.

Whilst based in Guernsey, she set up a successful pension scheme for a fiduciary company for which she continues to provide investment management services.

Prior to relocating to Dubai in 2015 she was a Non-­Executive Director of a wealth management company with offices
in Mayfair, London and the Dubai International Finance Centre. Zoë was also appointed as an independent consultant to the Guernsey Financial Services Commission, the Island’s Regulator.

She is now the owner of Castellet Consulting, an independent investment suitability assessment service based in Dubai, providing bespoke portfolio analysis to fiduciary companies and HNW individuals & families.

Zoë recently founded the Women’s Investment Network–“WIN Middle East”– an investment club to help and inspire women to become financially informed by sharing expert knowledge, with the aim of promoting financial literacy and money management skills, and to help women to successfully identify and achieve their financial goals.

She has also become a regular speaker at regional events such as STEP Arabia and CBRE Women in Business.She is a Member of the UAE National Advisory Board of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment, and the first Middle East Representative for Guernsey Finance,the joint government & industry body which
promotes the Island’s financial services capabilities.

Recent professional awards include the Wealth briefing GCC Region –Women in Wealth Management Editor’s Prize and the CMO Asia GCC’s Women Leadership Award. She is also a 5* Member of the City wealth Leaders List.
