Su Yin is Vice-President of Consumer Personal Systems in HP Asia Pacific & Japan. She is responsible for leading and managing HP’s Consumer PC business, focusing on product roadmap development, financial performance and business strategy execution.
Su Yin has held various positions at HP Asia-Pacific & Japan since 1997. Her previous roles include establishing the consumer notebook business in Asia-Pacific, and leading local notebook manufacturing in India and Japan.
She was also part of the pioneer team driving the DIAFA (Design in Asia for Asia) program, which developed six new platforms across notebooks and desktops.
In addition, Su Yin spent six years with Compaq Asia Pacific Greater China as the China Assess Business Group Category Senior Manager, among other roles. She was involved in developing growth and improvement strategies to deliver results for commercial and consumer client devices.
Su Yin holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from National University of Singapore, as well as a Graduate Diploma (Executive Education) in International Business from the Helsinki School of Economics, Singapore.
