Founding Director of United Entertainment and Media Pte Ltd, U En Me


Sreyashi Sen is the Founding Director of United Entertainment and Media Pte Ltd (U En Me), a Singapore film distribution, events and entertainment company. She is also the Managing Director of a community training company SOAR Pte Ltd. She has been in the arena of social learning training for close to 12 years looking at integration efforts through various avenues. She is also the Chairperson of DARPAN : An Indian International Film Festival Singapore 2012 and 2013-2014, a first of its kind festival in SE Asia that has as its backbone integration through the arts.

She holds advisory and Committee Member positions for various Non Profits and Non Government Organisations in Singapore and the region together with being a member on the Publications Consultative Panel (2009-2014) for the Media Development Authority (MDA) Singapore.

Sreyashi spent her growing up years in the city of Kolkata amidst thriving arts and culture and a family closely associated with media and entertainment. She moved to Singapore 10 years back and has been closely associated with the Non Profit world in various capacities among which include managing and mentoring teams of youth and adult volunteers from diverse groups and a mentored them in various aspects of Non Government Organisation (NGO) work and Service Learning Corporate Social responsibility. She volunteers also for many a project to do with migrant workers and their conditions.

Sreyashi is an associate trainer with the Civil Service College, Singapore. She has been a training professional for close to 11 years now.

She has played an active part in various events and conferences which include The Singapore AIDS Candlelight Memorial, UNIFEM “Take a Step to Make a Change”, and Harmony Works Conference under Peoples Association and the first MTE Concert held in January 2012.

Sreyashi holds a Masters in Social Work (MSW) form the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, India together with a Masters in English Literature with specialization in Gender Studies from India.

She is also the Founder and President of the Non Profit CREEED (Creative Reflections

Empowering Dreams), which works for underprivileged women and creativity in Singapore.
