Monique Lanaux

Vice President HR, The Albertsons Companies

 

Monique is an experienced Human Resources professional with over 15 years of Leadership experience in initiatives linking human capital to strategic business. Currently,  Monique is Vice President HR for The Albertsons Companies. Previously she was  the Sr. Director of Global Diversity & Engagement at PepsiCo leading the Global Women’s Agenda. In this position Monique played a key role as a cultural architect linking key stakeholders to broader business priorities, with a goal of amplifying traditionally marginalized co-horts in her company and communities. She also played a key role in shifting the image of leadership at all levels across the enterprise.

 

Prior to her last  role at PepsiCo, Monique has held various HR business partner roles of increasing responsibility in the Frito-Lay US division. Evidence of Monique’s contributions to PepsiCo, include but are not limited to her receiving several top HR awards for HR excellence and for her work in Employee relations/advocacy and Labor. Monique is also a certified Change Leader.

 

Monique holds a Master’s of Science degree in Public Policy & Management from Carnegie Mellon University and Bachelor’s degree in Urban Studies and Politics from New York University. Monique was born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in Freeport, Long Island. She is a classically trained violinist; she loves to travel and is a youth soccer coach. She currently resides in Washington DC metro area.
