Jia Gay

Jia Gay joined Aramex International in September 2018 as Group Chief Human Resources Officer. In her role, Jia is responsible for the development and execution of HR Strategy in support of the global business plan and strategic direction of the Company, specifically in the areas of succession planning, talent, retention, organizational change and performance management, employee engagement, training, leadership development and compensation and benefits.

Prior to joining Aramex, Jia spent over 25 years with The Coca-Cola Company, where most recently, she led Human Resources in the Middle East and North Africa region with oversight for the Company’s Eurasia and Africa territories serving over 85 of the fastest-growing markets in the world. With a focus on organizational strategy and talent development, Jia was a member of the worldwide Executive Human Resources Leadership Team for The Coca-Cola Company.

During her time with The Coca-Cola Company, Jia led transformation and change efforts in North America, Africa and the Middle East, having introduced and sustained a new HR service delivery model, which enabled increased productivity while maintaining high performing company engagement levels in the region.

Jia has lived and worked across different geographies in cities including Atlanta, Casablanca and Dubai.

Prior to joining The Coca-Cola Company, Jia worked with Electronic Data Systems (EDS), The Lucas Group and Federated Department Stores.

She has a B.S. degree in Fashion Merchandising from the University of Alabama and a Master’s in Business Administration from Walden University.
