Jeremiah Kaplan is the Franchise Director – Emerging Markets for Ethicon, Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices Companies. Based in Dubai since 2014, he currently leads the sales and marketing operations of the surgical division, which represents two-thirds of the Medical Device business in the Middle East.
Jeremiah has been a member of the Johnson and Johnson family for two decades, during which time he has worked in different offices in the United States and the UAE, with far-reaching operations and projects extending across 20+ countries globally. His enthusiasm and passion have been reflected in the various roles he assumed in sales, marketing, finance and operations. Some of his key leadership roles have included Business Unit Director – Emerging Markets and Senior Marketing Manager – Global Strategic Marketing.
A global leader with cross-functional experience, he has a proven track record of talent development, outstanding business results and a commitment to nurturing customer relationships. Jeremiah has helped transform businesses through advanced management approaches and business models, while fostering a culture of inclusion, innovation, engagement, and development. In recognition of his efforts, he has received several awards including Business Unit of the Year within J&J Middle East, J&J Leadership Award, and the prestigious MD Award.
Jeremiah holds a BBA in Finance from Lindner School of Business, University of Cincinnati, and an MBA with a concentration in Marketing, from Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.
