Managing Director, Johnson & Johnson Pacific
Doug joined Johnson & Johnson in 1992 and progressed through roles of increasing responsibility to become Vice President, Customer Development and Marketing Services, Asia Pacific in 2007, before heading up Johnson & Johnson’s Walmart business in 2010 based in Arkansas USA. In 2012, he became the Area Managing Director for the Consumer business within South Africa/Sub-Sahara and more recently moved to assume his current role as Managing Director Consumer – Pacific in January 2016. During his 26 years at the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies, Doug held Sales and Marketing positions covering multiple franchises, and has wide-ranging experience with major customers in multiple countries across Asia Pacific, North America, and Africa.
Doug has extensive experience managing large and sophisticated global retailers and in managing and building capability with large multi-cultural organizations. Since being back in Australia, Doug has taken on the role of D&I sponsor for the J&J Family of Companies in ANZ and sits on the APAC D&I council. He is a board member on the Australian Food and Grocery Council as well as the Australian Self Medication Industry.
Doug holds a Masters of Business Administration from the Australian Graduate School of Management at The University of New South Wales and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from The University of Western Sydney. He is also an active board member on The Kids Cancer Project, an avid mountain biker, enjoys the outdoors and time with his family.
