Head of Marketing at BIC East Africa
Paloma Lengema currently leads the Marketing activity across BIC East Africa. In her current role, Paloma is responsible for putting together marketing strategies for BIC East Africa and seeing plans through to execution.
Paloma joined BIC in 2012 when she enrolled in the two-year graduate program, Program for International Managers (PIM). Paloma soon after, became a permanent member of the BIC team. Paloma has gained extensive knowledge and experience in the three divisions of the company – Human Expression, Flame for Life, and Blade Excellence, and has worked with BIC across various geographies including the UAE, France, Sweden, the USA, and now Kenya.
Paloma moved to Nairobi, Kenya in 2019 to support with the opening of a BIC subsidiary and in setting up and leading a new team. Today, the operation has more than 200 employees and has achieved numerous successes in Kenya as well as in East Africa.
Prior to joining BIC, Paloma worked with other renowned FMCG brands including L’Oréal, Les Fromageries Bel, and Heineken International.
Paloma holds a Master’s in Marketing and Communications from ESCP Europe and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University Paris Dauphine. During her Bachelor, Paloma spent two semesters at the prestigious George Washington University in Washington DC as part of an exchange program.
In her free time, Paloma engages in active activities including fitness training, Salsa dancing, and walking. She also loves traveling and baking.
