Vice President, Europe Middle East Africa, Ethicon, Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices  

Vishnu’s Johnson & Johnson career spans almost two decades after joining J&J in 2002 through the International Rotation Development Program. Since 1 May 2021, Vishnu has served as Vice President, Ethicon, a Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices (JJMD) company, for the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region. In this role he leads organisational performance that improves outcomes for customers and patients and is a member of the Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices EMEA Regional Leadership and Global Ethicon Leadership Teams.

Prior to leading Ethicon EMEA, Vishnu was most recently the Janssen Managing Director, GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) within Emerging Markets. A true champion and thought leader for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and talent development, Vishnu transformed the organization and upgraded capabilities in key areas, making GCC a talent growth engine. Experiencing the power of diverse teams and the outstanding results they achieve has made Vishnu an avid believer in the importance of creating a culture where everyone can bring their best selves, insights, and contributions to work every day.

Vishnu has previously served as Managing Director for One J&J Indonesia overseeing the Consumer, Medical Devices, Pharmaceutical and Vision Care businesses. Prior to this, he was Vice President for the Global Orthopaedics Group South Asia cluster. During the course of his J&J career, Vishnu has garnered experience in multiple functions and geographies, including Strategic Marketing, Product Development, Business Development, and Mergers and Acquisitions, in EMEA, the U.S. and Asia-Pacific.

Vishnu is a proven business leader with a strong track record for growing people, businesses and ideas with his passion for developing talent. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering from University of Pune, India, and an MBA from McGill University, Montreal, Canada. He is currently based in Dubai with his family.
