Alex von Behr
Alex is the President of vBA Consulting and till recently was the Chief Customer Officer, Unilever Plc.
As Chief Customer Officer, Alex led the customer function for Unilever. He headed up the global team responsible for strengthening the Unilever Customer Development agenda in markets, driving key capability areas.

He also led the Global Customer teams handling global strategic customers including Walmart, Tesco, Metro and AS Watson in building collaborative growth opportunities leveraging Unilever Customer Insight and Innovation Centres.
Alex was a member of Unilever Global Diversity Council and leads the Global Customer Development Diversity and Inclusion Steering Committee.
Alex joined Unilever in 2008 as the Senior Vice President of Customer Development, responsible for driving our global CD strategy across our fast-growing Developing & Emerging markets in Asia, Africa, Central & Eastern Europe, adding Latin America in 2010.
Prior to joining Unilever, Alex gained experience across diverse companies and geographies globally. He started his career as an Associate Consultant at McKinsey in London. He then moved on to become European Marketing Director for Kraft (now Mondelēz) in their confectionery category, followed by time as General Manager of Kraft Confectionery in the UK. Alex then spent 13 years in successively senior General Management roles for Coca-Cola and their bottlers across Asia, covering 13 markets in all, latterly serving as President of their India and then their Philippines Divisions.
Alex was educated in UK, and obtained his BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Oxford University, England.
Alex is married and has six children (in all ranging in age from 26 down to four years old). He enjoys travelling and learning about new cultures. He is a keen sports fan, especially of football, cycling, golf and tennis, and loves nothing more than playing these sports with his children.
