The 2022 Break the ceiling touch the sky® 101 Best Global CEOs for women in leadership  recognizes the 101 CEOs from the world’s 500 Largest Companies  that have the most gender diverse executive management teams in 2022.  This  inaugural listing of the world’s Best Global CEOs for women in leadership is a part of the 2022 Break the ceiling touch the sky® 101 Best Global Companies for women in leadership Index (BTC 101 Global Index).  The 2022 list is derived by reviewing gender diversity percentages on the executive management teams of the world’s 500 largest Companies (in last quarter of preceding year – viz Oct – Dec 2021) and then ranking the CEOs of the top 101 Companies  with the best gender diversity on their executive teams.  To complete this list, House of Rose Professional (HORP)  had to review the executive teams of every single one of the world’s 500 largest Companies.  Research for this was pulled from the 2022 BTC 101 Global Index  which reviewed gender diversity numbers on the executive leadership teams and the Boards (over 10000 executives) of the world’s 500 largest Companies in Oct-Dec 2021.

The 2022 101 Best Global CEOs for women in leadership list supports HORP’s  Mission 2029 for a Better World –   which aims to shape a better world via better diversity & inclusion, better leadership and better business. The Measure for MISSION 2029 for a Better World is to  quintuple the number of Female CEOs  and double the number of male (advocates for diversity) CEOs in the World’s 500 largest Companies by 2029 given the reality that more women in leadership = better financial results, better employer brand and more compliant and innovative businesses. The world’s largest 500 Companies generate $31.7  trillion in revenues  and are represented by 31 countries that control  one-third of the world’s GDP.  HORP  believes that by transforming gender diversity at the top of these 500 companies first we can change the trajectory of global business for the better and influence a more sustainable, better world. It is to be noted that the smallest Company on the 500 largest Companies considered for this study has annual revenue of over 24 Billion USD in 2021. As such Companies smaller than this would NOT be eligible for consideration for the BTC 101 Global Index. By default therefore only CEOs of the world’s 500 largest Companies were considered for the 2022 101 Best Global CEOs for women in leadership list.

The BTC 101 Global Index and many other great Companies will share their best practices for diversity & inclusion, leadership and success at the 2022 World Tour of Break the ceiling touch the sky® – the success and leadership summit for women  through the 2021 year starting with the 2022 North America Edition of Break the ceiling touch the sky on Feb 28, 2022. Editons of the summit will continue thereafter around the world.

2022 Break the ceiling touch the sky® 101 Best Global CEOs for women in leadership

Ranked in order 1 to 101 by gender diversity % on their executive leadership team in brackets. If  CEOs have exactly identical gender diversity % on their executive teams, HORP then considers gender diversity on the Board of the Company as tie-breaker.   If CEOs have the same gender diversity % on their executive teams, ranking is decided by then reviewing gender diversity on the Boards of the Companies tied, and higher position will be awarded to CEO with higher Board gender diversity score.

Company CEO, CHRO or D&I leader may contact House of Rose Professional at anthony@houseofroseprofessional.com for the CEO’s Individual certificate.  and individual Board gender diversity % and executive management team gender % scores and further context on the overall BTC 101 Global Index.

Companies that did not make the Index/CEOs list this year may contact HORP to understand how you can improve your gender diversity scores and increase your positive business impact in the period ahead.
