General Manager Integrated Gas-Resource and Hydrocarbon Management, Shell
Roxana started her career with Shell Canada in 1999 at their head office in Calgary, Canada. There she held a number of Business and Technical roles of increased accountability in the areas of Refining, Oil Sands and Supply and Trading.
In 2008 she moved to a large Shell Oil Sands operating site Scotford Upgrader. There she first held the Business Manager role and then moved to Operations in charge of running the new Expansion units. In her aim to further develop and explore different cultures, she joined Shell’s Integrated Gas business in Singapore in 2013 as General Manager Integrated Gas – Resource and Hydrocarbon Management.
Roxana holds a Bachelor of Science with Distinction in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Calgary. She further continued her academic journey by receiving an MBA and graduating at top of her class. Roxana was also the Chair of Women Networks at Shell, roles that gave her a unique leadership opportunity to support the women and Diversity and Inclusiveness agenda in her organization.
Roxana was born and raised in Romania and immigrated to Canada in 1994. She has two wonderful children and her passions are travel, yoga and fitness.
