Vice President, Global Sourcing, Walmart
Nancy brings with her a strong merchandising and marketing background. Since joining Walmart U.S.in 2007, Nancy has served as Divisional Merchandise Manager for Seasonal and Celebrations and Sr. Director, Product and Brand Development- Seasonal and Toys. In these roles, she led cross-functional teams responsible for developing programs that save money for customers so they can live better.
In May, 2013 Nancy relocated from Bentonville to Walmart’s sourcing office in Shenzhen, China as Vice President Global Sourcing for General Merchandise, Consumables, Health and Wellness. Today, Nancy leads over 150 associates based in offices across Asia who are focused on enabling merchant strategies and responsibly sourcing products for the U.S. retail market.
Prior to joining Walmart, Nancy held roles of increasing leadership responsibility in merchandising, marketing, e-commerce and business development for companies such as The Home Depot, Best Buy and Target.
Nancy earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Arizona State University. She is currently active in Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) serving as a judge in China and the U.S., is a member of the American Chamber Hong Kong-Women of Influence Committee, is a member of NEW (Network of Executive Women) and serves as Executive Sponsor for the Walmart Global Sourcing Women Leadership Council (WLC).
Nancy has a twenty eight year old son, Matthew, living in New York City. Matthew is an associate producer for Radio Lab, a NPR (National Public Radio) program and a 2015 Peabody Award Winner for his work on 60 Words.
