Global Vice President, Shopper Marketing, ECommerce and Digital, The Coca-Cola Company
Julie Bowerman is the Global Vice President of Shopper Marketing, Ecommerce and Digital for The Coca-Cola Company. She and her team lead the strategic and commercial development of Coca-Cola’s business in the online channel and play a key leadership role in the digital marketing of their brands. Additionally, she is accountable for the development of Coke’s global capability in marketing to shoppers both on and offline.
Julie has spent most of her career at Coca-Cola in a variety of roles. She started on the bottling side of the business in the US commercializing Coke’s portfolio of brands and then moved to the company holding several roles of increasing responsibility in both marketing and commercial functions. For the last few years she has been one of the key leaders at Coke in the development of their digital marketing and ecommerce capabilities. One of Julie’s major accomplishments was building the first ever and largest US CPG loyalty marketing and CRM program, known as My Coke Rewards. Today the program has become a core pillar to how Coke has evolved their approach to reach consumers in a digital world and has resulted in many industry awards.
Prior to Coca-Cola, Julie spent time on the agency side working at J. Walter Thompson. Externally Julie sits on the board of the AMA, and was named as a finalist for the Women in Technology award and Who’s Who in Shopper Marketing. She and her family reside in Atlanta, Georgia in the states. She has her under-graduate from the University of Dayton and post graduate degree from Michigan State University.
